Washington, D.C., Feb 13 - Congressman John Fleming, M.D. (LA-4) questioned the Chiefs of Staff of the Army and Air Force at a hearing on sequestration held today by the House Armed Services Committee. Rep. Fleming’s interaction with General Raymond Odierno (Army) and General Mark Walsh (Air Force) focused on Fort Polk and Barksdale Air Force Base. The video of that interaction can be seen here. Prior to that, in his opening statement, Fleming noted that he voted against sequestration when he voted “no” on the Budget Control Act of 2011. He also warned that President Obama was not taking steps as the Commander-in-Chief to stop the sequestration’s threat to the country’s national defense. Rep.
